Dental & Vision Plans

Dental and vision plans are offered for individuals, families and seniors without underwriting. There are a number of dental plans available, from basic plans that cover mostly preventative care, such as cleanings, x-rays and exams, to comprehensive plans that include coverage for root canals, crowns, extractions and bridges. Most dental plans require you to have the coverage in force for a minimum period of time before major services are covered. Dental insurance is not a quick fix for a toothache; it is designed to be a lasting benefit.

Vision plans are less diverse than health or dental insurance, since everybody’s need for this kind of insurance is basically the same. However, there are different benefit levels offered and they are usually very affordable. This is a cost-effective coverage that is often overlooked.

Both dental and vision plans are also available for employer groups, either combined with a health plan, or as a stand alone benefit offered by the employer. Group plans have a greater variety in benefits than individual plans and are also lower priced.
